This is the photo album from the walk that we did on the Cape to Cape track in Western Australia in late September 2012.  Apart from one night in Margaret River we camped in the parks along the track.  We walked from South to North and saw very few people - only saw three other parties who were doing the whole track.  Weather was mixed, mostly strong SW winds, sometimes with squally showers including hail but it did improve as the trip went on.

All in all we thought this was a fantastic track and the flowers and flowering shrubs were lovely.  We were surprised how few walkers we met.  It was probably harder than we anticipated and soft sand made for slow going at times - we had not expected  to have the foot problems we developed possibly because of the dry walking on steep sand.

We recommend this trip to any keen walkers but you have to be fit and well prepared, it is not as easy as some of the tourist track descriptions would suggest if you are carrying full gear!
