Te Araroa South Island

Shepherd's boots, Motatapu track, Te Araroa trail.

We have completed about 300kms of the South Island Te Araroa and it is our intention to eventually do all of the South Island trail,  but not as a through trip. We will update the tracks we have done as time permits. We are describing the trail from Bluff to Picton to make easier for users of this website although some of section descriptions will probably be in the reverse direction!
